A clearer way
to begin.
Direct answers about opportunity discovery, what to bring and how to judge a first pilot.
What is an AI opportunity assessment?
It is a structured look at a real process to decide where AI, automation, a clearer rule or a better handoff could help. Start with the work that gets stuck, inspect the inputs and decisions, and define a small test. The output is a reasoned next step rather than a promised savings figure.
How is this different from buying an AI tool?
A tool is one possible part of the response. An opportunity assessment first establishes the constraint, who experiences it, the information available and the decision that must remain with a person. Sometimes simplifying a process is the useful first action.
What should we bring to the first conversation?
Bring one repeated workflow, the people who own it and a fictional or redacted example. Describe what starts the work, where it waits, how it is checked and what a completed result looks like. Keep confidential records out of an initial enquiry.
Can this tell us how much time or money we will save?
An initial exercise cannot establish that. Record the current process and agree on a small set of representative examples. During a pilot, compare effort, corrections, exceptions and output quality with that baseline before making a commercial decision.
Do we need clean data before exploring an opportunity?
You need enough understanding of the information to assess the idea. Missing, conflicting or inaccessible inputs are useful findings: they may make information quality or ownership the first task. Do not assume AI will repair those problems automatically.
Will an assessment recommend replacing people?
The focus is on tasks, handoffs and constraints. People keep accountability for decisions and commitments. A proposed workflow should show who reviews it, who handles exceptions and what the team needs to understand to run it.
Who provides the service behind this site?
AI Opportunity is a Flowtivity microsite. Flowtivity provides practical AI consulting, training, automation and supervised agent work for Australian businesses. Enquiries and engagements are handled by Flowtivity through flowtivity.ai.
What happens after we identify a possible pilot?
Confirm the scope, approved information, owner, review point and test cases. Check feasibility and the likely effort before building. Agree what evidence would justify continuing, changing the approach or stopping.
